Abstract

An analysis has been made of the effects on accidents of the lorry restrictions in the Windsor area. There were indications of a shift in the locations of accidents involving heavy goods vehicles, corresponding to a shift in routes used by heavy goods vehicle traffic, after implementation of the restrictions. No change in total accident frequencies was detected. (Author/publisher)
