The effects of alcohol on driving skill.

Abstract

Two driving tests were designed to evaluate some of the effect of alcohol on driving skill. These consisted of an evasive manoeuvre simulating a probable highway emergency and a cone course which followed a winding path through three turns and one straight path. Seven drivers took part in the experiment each are carrying out. the test several times with a varying blood alcohol content. Results are tabulated.
