Abstract

Following an information campaign "children in traffic" aimed at increasing parental safety care, in Sweden, 2 studies were carried out in May /June 1981 and May /June 1983. Results show that it is much easier to produce safety devices for the children and persuade them to use these devices than starting up projects demanding more lengthy and systematic efforts such as training and co- operation with others.
