Abstract

In order to investigate the relations between drivers' age, driving experience and accident rates on motorway, accident statistics were studied for a section of the Köln-Frankfurt motorway from 1965 to 1967. Results show that lack of driving experience was the main cause of accidents. See also B 4167.
