Abstract

This study was performed to clarify the relationship between gasoline volatility and vehicle driveability. The driveability tests were carried out using vehicles with multiport fuel injection system, under cold, hot and intermediate temperature conditions. The driveability test results were analysed in relation to the Reid vapour pressure, the distillation temperatures and the compositions of the gasolines. (A)
