Abstract

In the numerous clinical experiments about the effects in the combination of diazepam and alcohol the doses of both are not allowed to reach toxic levels. Thus informations about these effects of the overdosed benzodiazepine derivative with simultaneous alcohol uptake are limited to practical observations. In several cases of own investigations with analytically warranted levels of drug and alcohol sometimes unexpected low combination effects could be observed.
