Abstract

There is a considerable experimental evidence that many anti-depressants and anxiolytics impair skills performance, for example AMITRIPTYLINE and DIAZEPAM. This study compared FLUOXETINE, a new anti-depressant exhibiting few behavioural side effects in animals, with placebo and AMITRIPTYLINE treatments, each by itself and in combination with DIAZEPAM.
