The effects of some anxiolyties on car-following performance in real traffic.

Abstract

To test the effects of BUSPIRONE, DIAZEPAM and LORAZEPAM an over-the-road test of driving performance was developed to measure the degree of weaving which occurs when the driver looses the ability to precisely control the lateral position of the vehicle on the road. The results show hardly effects of BUSPIRONE and DIAZEPAM. After CORAZEPAM severe deterioration's in driving performance were observed.
