Abstract

Currently, California drivers are required to take a written test covering the vehicle code when they renew their license every year. New licensing programs are tested to simplify the renewal process. The purpose of this study was to evaluate the effects of more in-depth renewal procedures for applicants with poor prior three year accident and conviction records.
