Abstract
Eighty road samples with differing aggregate compositions were produced in the laboratory and subjected to accelerated wear in simulated summer and winter climates. A set of parameters included reflection properties of the road samples as illuminated by road lighting and by vehicle lighting together with some functional properties of the road surface.
