Effects of zonal traffic regulation in residential areas.

Abstract

Zonal traffic regulation is a comprehensive traffic regulation system which includes one- way systems, no heavy vehicles, no parking, low speed limit. Using before- and- after study methods in some cases, 33 zones were analyzed to investigate the relations between traffic regulation patterns and accident rates. Results of the study are presented.
