Abstract

This report details a study of information technology solutions to the challenge of maintaining an ongoing record of utilities facilities installations for the Florida Department of Transportation. A geospatial data management system with graphical capabilities was investigated. Recommendations for the development of such a system were made. A preliminary benefit/cost analysis indicates that the system will be productive and effective. (Author/publisher)
