Abstract
Old paving techniques, brickworks, quarries and the old paving handicrafts are beginning to flourish again: But will we have to relearn much that is forgotten, from ancient times as well? The aim of that renaissance is no longer traffic promoting, it is more or less restraining the traffic performances. An opponent remark is presented by T.Janssen.
