The white carriageway marking along the right side of the highway has many advantages. First the driver is forced to drive as close as possible to the right side. Second the frontal collisions are therefore prevented. Third the glare of oncoming traffic can be neglected because the driver can look to the marking and can hold easier his line. It can be feared, however, that riding as right as possible increase the possibility of collisions with pedestrians or parked vehicles.
