Put to trial were several automatic wheel-slip brake control systems that can be used on four-axle truck and trailer combinations. The different anti locking systems are described and compared in a simulation model on a computer. Considerable variations in efficiency could be noted between the different systems. The briefest braking distance is generally achieved with the individual control system. The best stability with the select low control system. The diagonal system is much interior. Yet they mean on improvement to the conventional brake systems.
