Abstract

Highway construction cannot keep pace with the rapid increasing of the traffic volume in most industrialised countries. A system helping every driver to find his specific distination is described. Every car gets a transmitter sending a code continuously depending on the drivers destination. If the vehicle reaches a decision point of the highway, the code is received by a loop antenna buried in the road's surface and an instruction is then send to the vehicle.
