Abstract

Emergency medical services 5 to 10 years ago were rendered by private enterprise, which provided transportation to the hospital with little or no training for the attendants and delivering little or no medical care en route. With the emphasis that has been placed on adequate prehospital care in the last year much has changed by providing equipment for delivery of prehospital care and movies for training of prehospital care personnel.
