Abstract

Differences in accessibility to the transit system on the part of employed and unemployed are investigated, and dependence on public transit for the trip is also studied. The influence of the transit system on job search patterns is determined and comparisons are made between the employed and unemployed. Their travel choices, differing from their knowledge of the system and its effects are examined.
