Abstract

The Dutch economy is for a main part dependent from the offer of oil. Over the whole world the demand for energy in the next one or two decades should be supplied by oil for 40 - 50%. Seen in the context of increasing population, increasing mobility and a further grow in economics, there will be a situation that the price of oil will increase. The policy of the Dutch government is an efficient use of energy and an energy conservation. Measures to obtain this are a.o. the decrease of commuter traffic, improvement of Park and. /. ervolg B 30261 /72 /96 / . /. Ride, the construction of a cycle track network, speed limits, improvement of car pooling improvements in traffic flow etc. See also B 30262- 30265.
