Abstract
This international bibliography includes abstracts of reports, conference papers, standards, books and journal articles on engine design. The emphasis in the papers abstracted here is on the development of fuel economy, low emissions, and optimized performance in a range of alternative engines for the car, the lorry and the motorcycle. The items have been selected from the material added to the Transport Research Laboratory's Library Database between 1990 and 1995.
