Abstract

There is no reason to increase the luminance of a headlamp of a bicycle on the basis of traffic safety. It is even possible to decrease the luminance. The free coming energy surplus can be used for signal sights around the bike, to increase the perception of the bicycle. Further research, however, into this subject is wanted. See also B 18661.
