Abstract
Recently asset managers from many Australasian jurisdictions met to discuss a range of issues relating to asset management systems (AMS). The rationale for and benefits of AMS were discussed together with the key factors which need to be considered to ensure the successful implementation of AMS. The key points raised are summarised in this article. (a).
