Abstract

Zukuenftige Lichtsysteme ermoeglichen durch eine angepasste Fahrbahnbeleuchtung eine weitere Verbesserung der Fahrsicherheit. Visteon arbeitet an diesen Systemen und sieht den Kern der neuen Advanced Front Lighting (AFS) Technologie in der Software-Entwicklung. Der Beitrag beschreibt ein Entwicklungssystem fuer AFS-Steuergeraete, das einen hohen Grad an Flexibilitaet zulaesst und zudem den Entwicklungszeitaufwand und damit den "Time to Market"-Zeitraum des endgueltigen Produkts reduziert. (A) Abstract in English: Visteon Lighting uses a closed development chain in order to develop the control algorithms for the advanced front lighting (AFS) system. The process commences with an offline-simulation (MATLAB/Simulink) followed by the generation of C-Code (Target-Link), which is loaded into the test module. The test module allows the complete hardware simulation of all AFS functions under all testing environments, including vehicle tests. The programm code of the algorithms can be utilized directly in the production modules, without the need for further transformation. This development chain gives Visteon the opportunity to shorten the development process for the AFS system tremendously, which reduces cost und time to market, while simultaneously improving quality.
