Environmental implications of options in urban mobility.

Abstract

This study deals with a number of policy issues ranging from the cost and effectiveness of alternative technologies of vehicle emission and noise control to the scope and methods for minimizing pollution by curtailing the use of cars. he issue of automotive pollution and noise control is placed in the wider context of long range strategies for urban mobility. The most promising solutions to these problems are described in this report.
