Abstract

This article describes how environmental policy has become more integrated in the decision making on traffic matters. From outsider to insider is quite a step. The timing of environmental inputs becomes better. The environment department thinks more along with the transport planners instead of remaining in their own world. They also dare to face up to the paradoxes and uncertainties which sometimes are involved. (A)
