Abstract

This paper contains a series of forms which may be used in epidemiological studies aimed at measuring the incidence with which drivers take psychoactive substances. Forms 1 and 2 may be used in studies by investigating police officers on drivers respectively not violating or violating traffic rules. Form 3 concerns medical examination of the psychophysical conditions of drivers involved in road accidents. Form 4 deals with how to report the results of toxicological analyses of biological fluids taken from drivers within the framework of epidemiological studies. The Forms have the advantage of being validated by experience, although they suffer from the usual defect of not covering all requirements. (A)
