Abstract

Engineering geologists and geotechnical engineers are working to understand the distribution of the geologic and climatic processes that affect the transportation infrastructure, as well as the probability and predictability of severe to catastrophic damage from these events. Inserts with this article include: (1) Conceptual Condition Index and Service Levels for a Hypothetical Feature and (2) Geotechnology Agenda 2020.
