Abstract

Ergonomics and biomechanics are not the only solution to road traffic accident prevention. But, the prevention of road traffic accident cannot be obtained without consideration of them. As quantifiable elements of a complex system, these must be incorporated to improve primary and secondary prevention of accidents, and they are probably the clearest common denominator between road-traffic accidents and occupational accidents.
