Abstract
The need for signalization of each intersection in Escondido based on traffic volumes, travel speeds, accident histories, congestion and delay, using commonly accepted traffic signal warrants and criteria is established. Specific data for each location describing existing conditions and problems, recommended type of traffic control, proposed design features, signal progression and interconnections for future systems and estimated costs are presented.
