Abstract

The Transport Research Laboratory (TRL) is embarking on an investigation into the necessary requirements of a new frontal test procedure. This paper outlines some of the reasons for a new procedure and details some of the current knowledge of TRL about the essential requirements of an effective Frontal Impact Test.
