The establishment of child car seat rental schemes in New Zealand.

Abstract

This paper reviews the developments over the last few years which culminated in the establishment of first one and now many car seat rental schemes. The method of operation of the pilot scheme is outlined, currently 60% of parents make use of this scheme to obtain an infant safety device, obviously, there is a demand for this service.
