Abstract

The estimated cover the total expenditure on road transport plus an allowance for the depreciation of vehicles, bur exclude the purchase of new vehicles and the expenditure on maintaining or expanding the road system. Separate estimates are made for cars, commercial vehicles, public service vehicle motorcycles and pedal cycles; expenditure in vehicles belonging to the Service Department is excluded because of lack of information.
