Abstract

Reason for this symposium has been the idea of acquiring knowledge about the system of the active substance about plants - formerly used in medical, ceremonial and secured context-their compounds and derivatives. This study will gave information about a possible use of the compounds contained in these plants for medicinal purposes. After an overview in history follows an enumeration of all kind of old and new drugs, among others: LSD and atropine. Their origin, use, structure and application are described.
