Abstract

Autopsy of 100 road accident victims shows certain injuries which could not be detected from the outside. 76 subjects had several fatal injuries, 21 of them had more than two fatal injuries, 98 of the 100 were not wearing seat belts when the accident occurred. A relation is tried to be made between the deformation of the vehicle and the injuries of the vehicle occupants and to obtain the levels of human tolerance at impacts.
