Abstract

The purpose of this study was to determine the effects of the implementation of thirty kilometre-zones in 15 municipalities in The Netherlands. The study consists of a global and a statistical analysis. The global analysis concerns a before and after study in which a number of characteristics of accidents have been investigated. By means of the statistical analysis, it has been determined which conclusions can be made. For this purpose, the computer program GLIM has been used.
