Abstract

This paper describes the methods used to evaluate the effects of any changes in traffic or transport management. Such methods are introduced in each region. Special reference is made to those methods whose aim is to decrease the use of the car for journeys to work. The cornerstone of this approach is the involvement of factories and business in the experiment. Two methods which are used to measure the effects of transport demand management as practiced by this "public /private" partnership are described.
