Abstract

The Kentucky Transportation Center at the University of Kentucky has released a report that examines the accuracy of Global Positioning Systems (GPS) units as a traffic crash location tool, evaluates the accuracy of the location data obtained using the GPS units, and determines the largest sources of errors found.
