Abstract

An experimental evaluation of existing driver training programmes and driver performance, measurement/prediction instruments, is described. Data were used to set up a data-bank from which the following five types of programme evaluation could be performed: subjective reaction of recruits, performance during training, effect of training of intermediate criterion, accident experience, and cost-benefit-analysis.
