Abstract

The effect of 'No Standing' restrictions during peak hours on five arterial approaches to the central business district of Adelaide was evaluated in a conventional 'before and after' study. Accident records and traffic flow measures were supplemented by a behavioural measure which allowed the difficulty of driving to be assessed. The results of the study are reported and discussed.
