Abstract

The goal of Rosita evaluation in our country was the comparison in term of positivity, practicability, rapidity, cost and scientific interpretation (particularly for legal applications, i.e. judges, court cases, acceptability, discussion with attorneys ...) of results obtained from 4 different matrices. Blood, urine, sweat and saliva will be collected from drivers admitted in emergency rooms following an accident during a 9-months period in the Strasbourg area. As it is forbidden by the French law, it is not possible to perform roadside tests. Therefore, this study was focused on the comparison of alternative specimens (saliva, sweat) with conventional specimens (blood, urine).
