Abstract

An enforcement and advertising campaign was conducted in Victoria, linking drink- drive enforcement with general traffic enforcement. Pre and post surveys indicated that the advertising campaign reached a target group of 18- 30 year old males, and that the campaign resulted in an increased perception of the chance of apprehension. There was some evidence of a reduction in drink- drive behaviour.
