Abstract

Road safety education plays an increasingly important part in a systematic approach to road accident prevention. This is probably due to the realisation that human error is an important contributory factor in accident causation. This paper discusses the major questions which arises in the conjunction with the planning, execution and application of evaluation studies on road safety education programmes.
