Abstract

It has been hypothesized that the training of motorcyclists in the skills of machine control and knowledge of the road environment would result in a reduction in the number of accidents in which these riders would be expected to be involved, and consequently the casualties. A comprehensive training program for such riders exists in the form of the RAC/ACU training scheme, which efficiency is evaluated. See also PB- 10164 and 10165.
