An evaluation of Federal Highway Safety Program effectiveness.

Abstract

The Federal Highway Administration Office of Highway Safety, has devised a Highway Safety Evaluation System (HSES) for reporting of highway safety improvement effectiveness. The system receives raw "before"and after" accident data. Purpose of this report is to provide a more thorough understanding of this system for the contributors of data and for the users of the analysis results.
