Abstract
The purpose of this paper is to report an evaluation ofan information campaign against drunken driving. First, thecampaign and the design of the evaluation are briefly de-scribed. Then follows an account of the findings which in-dicate that the information programme had no appreciableeffects. Finally, possible reasons for this outcome arediscuseed and allo what makes campaigns to be launched inspits of their generally weak effects.
