Abstract

Evaluation of two techniques for measuring intersection delay is given. Delay measurements taken from videotapes for each of the methods were compared with delays computed from time-lapse photographs made concurrently with the video-tapes. Neither method produced consistent trends in predicting delays as compares to the base methods, and even these failed to give consistent, direct relations.
