Abstract

Evaluation of road safety measures is a central component in the general process of managing a road safety programme. It is essential for decision makers under conditions of scare resources.Various types of evaluation processes are described.Methods of evaluation and evaluation techniques are described.A number of related topics associated with the statistical analysis and with the growing complexity of evaluation criteria are discussed.
