Abstract

This study was conducted to 1) establish a list of the nationally recognised models 2) evaluate representative models for their ability to use available data to show hazard potentials at crossings, and 3) recommend whether the currently used method, a modification of it, or a different method should be used by the Rail and Public Transportation Division to predict the accident potential at a crossing .
