Abstract

This literature review and bibliography is related to the evaluation of the effectiveness of mass media public education campaigns. In addition to road safety campaigns, heavy emphasis was placed on advertising field studies and related laboratory research. Those responsible for organizing, sponsoring and designing safety campaigns will be particularly interested in this report. It will also be of interest to anyone involved in traffic safety.
