Abstract

One way of making a model to enable a prediction of driver behaviour in special situations and of studying road geometry, is to analyse driver behaviour at an elementary level of operation: lateral and longitudinal control. The evaluation of roads can be performed on existing roads, but it is also desirable to do so at the pre-construction stage. Both techniques are discussed.
